My first contribution

Wikipedia defines Ares as the god of Bloodlust - nice!

Ares is a major deity and a member of the Twelve Olympians, a son of Zeus and Hera, in Greek mythology. Though often referred to as the Olympian god of warfare, he is more accurately the god of bloodlust, or slaughter personified: "Ares is apparently an ancient abstract noun meaning throng of battle, war."  He also presides over the weapons of war, the defence and sacking of cities, rebellion and civil order, banditry, manliness and courage.

It's also implied by the picture that he has a penchant for big silly hats, toboggans, and public displays of nudity..

I'm looking forward to getting some more group classes in this week. Have been doing bootcamp as well as some boxing last night. I'm keen to do something tomorow morning or evening if anyone else wants a buddy (prefer Cardio or HIAIT) - leave a comment or contact Brendon/Anna/Gym for my number.

I've been eating healthy so far this week. I sat down with my workmates and ate chicken salad while they scoffed gourmet pizza today! Now i'm craving all sorts of of junk food. Not quite sure how I'll manage to stay on track over the long weekend, but hopefully tomorrow's seminar will sort that out - right?

Good luck everyone, lets kick some butt.

Jeremy

Good for you!!! Not being from New Zealand originally I find that lots of work functions focus around food...and not much of it healthy food. Fridays are usually the day someone brings in cake, cookies, cupcakes, pizza, muffins, ice cream or all of the above and I am stuck in my office not wanting to come out and face temptation. That being said, I am rarely anywhere without some almonds and my water bottle now so that is making it alot easier.
Workout this morning doing some Interval work and I wanted to DIE!!! But felt great afterwards...

See you tomorrow evening at the nutrition seminar and I am going to go to yoga before as well

Good luck everyone,

Connor
